Firstly my telephone conversation with Caroline, very helpful & good product knowledge, plus being able to place my order by phone was excellent!
Delivery by Eric, was fantastic too. a lovely friendly man, who made sure by asking us where exactly the item was to be placed. Also the gentleman man I spoke to on the phone, I think it was Simon, again very helpful!
I will definitely use you again and have no hesitation in referring your company.

Good stuff
I ordered my new oven last thing on a Friday evening, Monday evening there was a knock at the door and there it was, great price & quick delivery, very happy

From my first point of contact to EDUK to delivery, service has been fantastic. My issue was resolved straight away (we had issue with manufacturer, not retailer) EDUK we’re great in rectifying straight away, Simon in customer care and Mike the director- fantastic Thankyou!

Consistently pleased with Electrical…
Consistently pleased with Electrical Discount UK! I've bought a few bits from them over the years, and the prices and delivery have always been fab!
I spoke with their customer service for the first time on my most recent purchase (my fault, I was on auto-pilot and put the wrong delivery address), the team (real people, not robots like you often get nowadays) were extremely friendly and sorted it all very swiftly!

Brilliant company!
I've been desperate for a new TV for months but I've struggled to part with the cash. It wasn't until a friend recommended EDUK that I took the plunge and bought a brand new Samsung TV. The prices at EDUK are competitive and the service is second to none. Unlike other major companies, I was contacted by phone after I made my online purchase to make sure that I was happy with my purchase and to arrange delivery. A lot of the time, buying online can feel cold and disconnected, but EDUK really make an effort to communicate with the customer - something I greatly appreciated.

Customer service doesn't exist once they have your money! Save yourselves worry, time (months) and money. This company also trades under different names!

Room for improvement but would use again
I'll start this review by saying that I received the goods I ordered quickly and in perfect condition; the delivery driver was exceptional and deserves to be rewarded by his company for providing a service beyond expectations.
Areas that this company need to review and improve upon are:
Ordering: I had to pay by Paypal as the first attempt using credit card failed. The initial credit card payment was authorised properly but was not taken. Of course this puts you (the customer) in a state of worry authorising a payment of over £2000 twice. I contacted their customer service, who answered promptly, and advised they were experiencing technical problems. They told me the credit card payment would not go through, and I should use Paypal.
Customer service was good, but I shouldn't have needed them.
Communication was poor: the only communication I received was a single email confirmation of the order. Compare this with another order, from a different supplier, made the same week: here we received 5 updates before during and after delivery.
The web site says we will be contacted "within 24 hours"... of what? Delivery? Order? Who knows? ... The only contact we received, after placing the order, was a phone call from the delivery driver. He was outside our house unable to get an answer. At the time we were 50 miles away! We had received no notification that the delivery was going to take place that day.
Fortunately the driver was staying locally that night and he delivered the item at 05:50am the following morning. Not an issue for me. The performance of this guy was stunning! It wasn't his fault that his company had messed up on the communication and he ran the extra mile to make the delivery. So a big thanks to him!
As of today their website says my order is "in Process" (the same as the day I ordered it) -- Its now 10 days post delivery so the website is wrong and, throughout was uninformative.

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service. I spent 3-4 months trying to come to terms with a microwave that I didn't like. We messaged Electrical Discount UK about the problems we were having with it, and they collected it for free and gave us a full refund even though we'd used it all that time. These were design flaws, not faults so we were amazed that they were so generous.

Initial website bug worried me but great customer service and resolution
I see another person had the same issue I had with a bug on the website affecting payment. However, I too gave them a quick call and the issue was resolved pretty quickly using paypal method instead. Delivery was quick and helpful. They lose that star for the website bug but as I say, great customer service.

Website bug, but Excellent service
Despite a buggy website payment issue, a quick phone call with the store provided reassurance and advice was given to pay by PayPal. Order delivered a day ahead of schedule by a friendly and professional driver who called in advance with an accurate arrival time. Couldn't ask for more (assuming they fixed their website issue).

Worst Customer Service ever
I purchased a Panasonic DPUB820EBK 4K UHD on the 30th December 2021.
I received this on 4th January 2022
It was immediately apparent that it was faulty on HDR playback with snow over the entire screen, Dolby vision was displaying well. To test my equipment I set my existing Sony x700 to HDR and the display was perfect.
I called to report the issue on the 7th January @9:45 and was told someone would get back to me later with a stock update. (this didn't happen)
I called again @16:54 and as no stock was available asked for a refund which I was told would be once the item was returned.
The item was collected by Royal Mail on the 11th January.
17th January I emailed to see if it had arrived, this was confirmed
21st January I emailed to ask for an update (no reply)
26th January I emailed asking when I would get my refund (no reply)
28th January I called to see what was happening and was told the item had a scuff and would be graded stock, I reiterated that this was returned due to a fault and I should get a full refund.
So far apart from the email reply on the 17th January all contact has been initiated by myself which I find to be totally unacceptable. They have had the item since the 12th of January and I am still awaiting my refund almost 3 weeks later.
